Huber Visit

A few weeks ago our fabulous friends, The Hubers came for a visit. We were thrilled to be the grand finale on Kristen's Great Maternity Leave Tour.

Clearly Claire and Elanor enjoyed their time together. They made a snowman, did gymnastic, tortured Otto, and generally had a fabulous time.

Claire was still a little too excited to make the sleep portion of their sleep over party happen. It was pretty hilarious to listen in on the monitor:
1st Claire and Elanor laughing like hyenas
2nd Claire escalates into singing, footsteps racing around room, and laughing uncontrollably
3rd Elanor pleads with Claire to get in bed, Claire continues her insanely happy girl routine
Around 10 or 11 Claire dissolves into tears, I relent and pull her out of the room -- only to have her beg to return to the sleep over party (the party is pretty one sided at this point, somehow Elanor managed to fall asleep even with the decibel level at 10). There will be plenty more opportunities, little excited girl.
