Claire now likes to sleep with the light on. She hops out of bed and turns the light back on before she goes to sleep. This allows us to go in later and turn the light off again. Tonight we saw this relaxed sleeping position. 10:00 PM, lights on, foot up and sound asleep.

I love Claire's big bed. I got a bed just like that when your father was born, Ryan. And oh, how I loved it. It offered both freedom (ability to get out) and safety (side rails to keep me in).
